Item Number 1 - Roof
One of the first parts of taking ownership of this very old property has been to secure its longevity so you, and many others, can come and enjoy it’s beauty. One of the first tasks we set out to accomplish was to clean and repair our roofs. As the phrase goes, “It’s always important to have a good head on your shoulders,” we need to make sure all of our property remains clean and dry, which of course is what a roof on your house accomplishes. Interestingly, for those not familiar with the Normandy region of France—we get a lot of rain and wet weather throughout the year. This make the region lush and beautiful throughout the entire year, but it also allows moss to grown on our roofs. This might sound like a attractive addition to your rooftop, but unfortunately this moss can eventually lead to the tiles on your roof cracking. So, we did the sensible thing and had it all cleaned off and made sure the roof was nice and water tight.
